Bible Study for Adults

Bible
Catholics read more Scripture than any other church at Sunday worship.  Yet many people mistakenly think that the bible is not important in the Catholic tradition.

Periodic Bible mini-courses, which run for 6-weeks at a time, will feature instruction on specific topics, practical tips on reading and studying the bible, and personal sharing on the specific bible texts chosen for that topic.

These courses benefit those who are just beginning study as well as those who have great familiarity with God's special written Word.

If you have never had the opportunity to read and study the Bible or if you are a long-time scholar of Bible studies, you are welcome to join us.

Current Adult Bible Study Course:

The Gospel of Matthew
Mondays, Oct. 4 – Nov. 8, 2010
at 7:30 PM in the School

Our next six week mini-course will look at different aspects of the gospel of Matthew which we will use
next year in church in cycle A of the Sunday readings. Matthew stresses the importance of faith in God
and in Jesus. Each week will feature instruction in the theme for that week, practical tips on reading and studying the Bible, and personal sharing based on the Bible texts chosen for that lesson.
Whatever your background in bible studies, you are welcome to join us. Check out Deacon Michel's website: www.deaconmichel.com
