Religious Education
A wide variety of
religious programs assist the spiritual and the moral development of our young parishioners who attend public schools. Beginning with classes in pre-kindergarten (4 years old) and continuing through the high school programs, students not only learn their Catholic Christian heritage but are also led to develop a personal relationship with Christ and a commitment to his gospel’s moral principles. They develop an understanding of the Scriptures, the meaning of the Sacraments and the richness of the Catholic tradition.
At various stages of their religious development, students prepare for the celebration of First Penance, First Communion, and Confirmation.

Children's Sunday Liturgy
St. Bartholomew's conducts a special Children's Church. Sunday mornings start at 9 a.m. with children in the hall, parents in church. Parents should bring their children to the parish hall before 9 a.m. Then they can go back to church for the beginning of Mass.
Children will have their own worship in the hall with a scripture and music service specially tailored to these younger members of the community. Then they will come back to the church and join with their parents and the other members of the parish for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. - Starts at 9 a.m. CCD Religious Education 2007-2008
![]() Classes: Interested in Becoming Catholic?
Did you ever think about becoming Catholic? Is there a friend or a member of the family with whom you could share your faith? Do you or someone else have a lot of questions seeking answers? Try us… ask, listen, share, grow. We are anxious to share with others
our special
Catholic vision
of faith and love in Christ. We
do this through our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation
of Adults)
or Catechumenate. RCIA for Adults
is not like going back to school,
because RCIA is more of a process of growth than a project in school.
RCIA means learning not just with the head, but most importantly with the heart.
Our Catechumenate program, also called RCIA, can benefit: Call the rectory 954-431-3600 to speak with Father Paul for information. The current RCIA Program meets Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. in the School Library. Youth Groups & Young Adult Ministries
See the Youth Group Chronicles page from the bulletin each Sunday for updated news on current happenings and upcoming events.St. Bartholomew Catholic School
St. Bartholomew's School is an elementary and middle school founded in 1965 to provide not only quality academics but also religious and moral formation. The School is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and continues to provide students who do well in national testing and later in high school.
The teachers are committed to creating a disciplined environment; in which sound spiritual, academic, emotional, and social growth can occur. This is achieved through the cooperative efforts of the school and parish communities. At St. Bartholomew's, computers and bibles fit together in the same learning environment.
