WELCOME
TO THE 2ND GRADE

May 31st-Summer
I can’t believe the end of the school year is almost
here. How time flew by! It was such a great pleasure to have your child
in my class. We will be having an end of
the year class party to celebrate. More
information will follow.
Please help
your child over the summer by practicing certain skills with them to help them
be prepared for 3rd grade. Continue
to practice money, telling time, and cursive handwriting. It would also be a great idea to have your
child know their times table. Knowing
their multiplications will greatly benefit them.
The third graders- to- be are required
to read two summer books. Please make
sure they are read before school starts in August. 7 x
9= Trouble by Claudia Mills and Mr.
Sunny Is Funny! by Dan Gutman.
The children should be ready to take
an AR test when they return.
