Liturgical Ministries

We have a group of lay ministries that work together to enrich our liturgies. They assist in bringing the community together at each mass. Watch the bulletin for more information on meetings, training and workshops.

Ministers of Communion

Some men and women in the parish share in the responsibility for the care and distribution of the Holy Eucharist. They minister the Body and Blood of Christ to the assembled faithful at Sunday and weekday Masses. Ministers of Communion receive Diocese-wide training and serve on a rotating schedule. If interested, please call the rectory 954-431-3600.

Altar Servers

Our parish is blessed by a faithful group of Altar Servers who assist the priest and other ministers during Mass; they help with lighting the candles, holding the sacramentary, placing vessels on the altar, etc. Any interested boy or girl in 4th grade or older can call the rectory about training.

Lectors

Through the lectors, men and women who read the Scriptures at Mass, God’s living Word continues to be proclaimed to his people. Lectors are called not only to proclaim the Word, but also to grow in their knowledge and love of God’s living Word as well. For more information on becoming a lector, call the rectory 954-431-3600.

Ushers & Greeters

These men and women offer a warm and friendly greeting to those arriving for mass demonstrating our parish hospitality and facilitating the smooth running of services. All it takes is a little extra time on Sundays and Holy days, and a lot of dedication to be here faithfully. If you can fulfill these “qualifications,” please call the rectory 954-431-3600.

Ministers of Care

Jesus spent much of his ministry demonstrating God’s love for those people who needed healing in body, mind, soul and spirit. As risen Lord he continues his ministry through the Church. We visit sick members of the parish family, the homebound, in nursing homes and in hospitals. Every week the sick can receive Holy Communion. For more assistance, call the rectory 954-431-3600.

Altar Cleaners

Volunteers are needed to assist each week with light cleaning and vacuuming of the altar, sanctuary area and candles. If you are interested in helping out one Saturday a month, please contact Jo Wagner or call the rectory 954-431-3600.

Worship and Liturgy
Worship in our Catholic Church takes a variety of shapes and forms. The Sunday Eucharist remains for all of us a focus of our religious and spiritual lives. Our parish also provides many other opportunities for individual and group prayer experiences to help in our growth in Faith.
MonstranceAdoration of the Blessed Sacrament
All parishioners are welcome to attend Eucharistic Adoration every Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel located inside the Church office (Rectory). During these hours, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed in a monstrance, providing an ideal atmosphere for quiet prayer and meditation.   Come and spend time with Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, and allow Him to transform your life. Parishioners are also encouraged to sign up for a regular weekly hour of adoration. For information, call the Rectory.
